Initial and Term Assessments
Like other Colleges in Australia, Apex too conducts test to assess a student’s potential. The stringent assessment test filters only the best among the applicants. All students enrolling into Apex undertake a thorough assessment in each of the areas of instruction. Initial assessment will assist in determining the student's level of knowledge and skills.
The diagnostic examinations will be used for the sole purpose of placing learners in appropriate learning programs. Parents will be provided with a detailed analysis of all data examined, including strengths/weaknesses identified.
During each term parents are given detailed feedback about their child's performance based on our regular term tests.
Primary School Courses at Apex Coaching
ACCELERATED STREAM
Students will focus on only one concept per 90-minute session in order to develop greater understanding and retention of facts.
Assessments will be conducted regularly to track progress of each student. Formal assessment and reporting will be conducted each term i.e. four times per year.
Students will be expected to reinforce/ compliment work done in the classroom at home in their student journals to realize the full benefits and potential of the program.
ENRICHMENT STREAM
Apex Coaching takes the best care of the students with exceptional academic talent through its enrichment courses. Two such provisions made for gifted and talented students are the:
Opportunity Classes (OC) and
Selective High Schools (SHS)
Admission into each of these courses is based on academic merit in the Initial Assessment at our centre.
CHALLENGING MINDS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
This popular program is designed to develop problem solving, abstract thinking, increase verbal and non verbal reasoning and visual memory. Apex offers basic education to the little gems as well as the career aspirants. The institute has equal excellence in primary education and higher learning as well. Every subject from the basic ones to HR Management courses is taught with equal care and attentive approach.
Suitable for students aged 7 years and up, it is a wonderful preparation for those looking to sit OC and Selective school entrance exams or apply for scholarships. The program is designed to allow students to progress at their own pace.

High School Courses at Apex Coaching (Year 7 to 10)
The Regular Course for Year 7 -10 students consists of 3 subjects: Maths, English and Science. During the lessons, students will use a combination of workbooks , textbooks from other sources as well as materials prepared by the teacher.
(Year 11 to 12)
There are a variety of subjects that we offer senior high school students in order to help achieve the results they desire in the HSC. They are:
+ Math’s (General , 2 Unit, Extension 1 and Extension 2)
+ English (Standard and Advanced)
+ Chemistry
+ Physics
Senior high school students will use a variety of materials prepared by teachers who have amassed vast experience by teaching HSC students and also being employed as HSC markers. Each class is conducted for an hour and a half. For the native Australians, it is easier to study at Apex. But the Australian government has opened the door to the foreign learners too. You need a Student Visa Australia to make an entry into this beautiful country and study here.
